Auto Accidents

A person injured in an auto accident as a result of a negligent driver may make a claim for medical expenses, property damage, loss of earnings, loss of earning capacity, future medical expenses, and pain and suffering. Perhaps half of my cases are personal injury matters caused by auto accidents.

You must have been insured at the time of the accident, but in the event of a recent lapse of coverage, sometimes I can get the insurance company to reinstate coverage retroactively.

Be prepared to send me photos of the property damage, property damage estimates, insurance declarations page, other driver information, witness information, medical provider information, rental receipts.

If you need to be referred for medical treatment, I know qualified specialists and chiropractors that will provide the necessary treatment and evaluation, and wait until I settle your case for payment.

Most cases settle without litigation.

In California, you have 2 years to file a lawsuit for personal injuries arising from an auto accident, but I usually file within 1 year because either the settlement offer is too low or the liability is disputed.

I handle all auto accident cases on a contingent fee basis-no recovery, no fee. I will also advance all necessary costs. Consultations are free.
